HCII 2015: The Conference in numbers

The Proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCI International 2015, to be held at The Westin Bonaventure, in Los Angeles, CA, USA, 2-7 August 2015, have now been finalized. A total of 4843 individuals from academia, research institutes, industry and governmental agencies from 73 countries submitted contributions:
- 1462 papers in 26 Volumes of the Springer LNCS and LNAI series
- 246 poster short papers in 2 Volumes of the Springer CCIS series
Twenty three full- and half-day Tutorials that will run from Sunday 2 to Tuesday 4 August. There are still places available and conference participants can register at any time.
Around 250 parallel sessions (technical paper presentations) are expected to run from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 August.
Poster presentations will run from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 August.
Well known industry Exhibitors will display their products from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 August.
About 2.000 participants are expected to attend HCII 2015 from at least 73 countries.

HCII 2015: Posters for Late Breaking Research Results

You still have the opportunity to present the latest results of your work to an international audience, by submitting a proposal for a poster presentation (an abstract of 300 words) through the CMS. Subject to its acceptance following peer review, you will need to register for the Conference by 1 July 2015 at the latest, so that your poster can be scheduled to appear for presentation in the posters area of the conference.

HCII 2015: Keynote Speech

The opening plenary session, to be followed by the conference reception, will be held in the evening of Tuesday 4 August.

Susan Dumais (Distinguished Scientist & Deputy Managing Director, Microsoft Research Lab, Redmond) will deliver the Keynote Speech during the Opening Plenary Session of HCII 2015. The title of her speech is "Personalized Search: Potential and Pitfalls".
